General Information:

These qualifications cover the essentials of business administration, from event support to project management, enabling the learner to provide administrative support in a range of environments. There are options for those who are new to the job, as well as those with more experience.

Outcomes:

The students will complete a number of mandatory units, including:

  • Principles of personal responsibilities and how to develop and evaluate own performance at work

  • Principles of working with and supervising others in a business environment

  • Principles of managing information and producing documents in a business environment

  • Principles of providing and maintaining administrative services.

Occupation Description

Working Environment and Conditions

Service Officer (Level 2) works in private and public places where food and beverage is served, (restaurant, breakfast room, terrace, room service, banquet hall, meeting room, lobby, pool, night club, discotheque, bars), restaurants, ships, trains and yachts. He wears the special clothes required by his profession at work. May require standing for long periods of time. There may be working on holidays, shifts and overtime. There are accident and injury risks that require occupational health and safety measures during the execution of the profession. In cases where the hazards cannot be completely eliminated, it works by using the appropriate personal protective equipment provided by the employer.

Persons who will work in this profession should not be allergic to cleaning materials, feathers such as carpets or dust.

11UY0023–3 CONSTRUCTION PAINTER Level 03

Occupation Description

Construction Painter (Level 3); By taking occupational health and safety and environmental measures, within the framework of quality systems, He is a qualified person who organizes work related to their profession, performs the preparation before painting, applying paint to all elements and surfaces of the building, varnishing wooden surfaces, performing post-paint/varnishing operations and carrying out activities related to professional development.

PVC Joinery Installer Level 03

Occupation Description

By taking measures regarding occupational health and safety and the environment, within the framework of quality systems, he is a qualified person who organizes work related to his profession, performs preliminary preparation, assembly, adjustment and testing of P.V.C joinery in various buildings in accordance with the project and participates in professional development activities.

Working Environment and Conditions

P.V.C. Joinery Installer (Level 3) can work in open or closed environments, in dusty, humid and/or noisy sections where the change of heat and cold is sudden, depending on the environment and condition of the building where he works.
